God has called us to be a church that accepts others and challenges them to grow, so that they can become more generous with their life and faith. Our core values are acceptance, growth, and generosity.
You see these values beginning in our earliest roots of a brush arbor in 1857, then through the merger of Dublin Methodist Church and Mt. Pleasant Methodist church to form Dublin United Methodist church in 1970, until the present day.
Our church has burned, moved, and been reconstructed many times, but our unwavering commitment to helping people find a meaningful relationship with Jesus has stayed the same.
MINISTRIES AT A GLANCE
At Dublin United Methodist Church we offer multiple ways to grow in your faith. We have a variety of adult Sunday School classes and small groups, as well as classes for children and youth. Along with Sunday School we offer a Children's Ministry program as well as a Youth Ministry program. We invite people to join our Discipleship and Small Group Ministries that meet several times throughout the year. DUMC has a wonderful Music Ministry providing many opportunities for those with musical talents to get involved. This list of places to grow is always being updated.
